How do I send a fax?
FaxSalad makes faxing portable, meaning you can send a fax from anywhere you have the internet, on any device.

Do I need to own a fax number to send a fax?
No fax number is required to send a fax with FaxSalad. Once you have signed up for an account, you can begin faxing right away without a fax number.

Do I have to login to the FaxSalad portal to send a fax?
No, you do not. You can send a fax directly from your email account.

Can I send a fax from my smartphone?
Yes, you can. You can take photos of documents on your smartphone and upload them directly to the FaxSalad portal or send them via Email to Fax.

How much does it cost?
Sending a fax is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. You pay for each page you send and only if the fax is successfully delivered.

Why did my fax fail?
.FaxSalad uses the following three statuses for failed faxes:
No-answer.
This status indicates that we received no response from the receiving end and can often be caused by issues such as; the receiving number being disconnected, or the receiver is experiencing high traffic and is unable to respond on time.
Waiting for a few minutes and reattempting the fax will often resolve the issue. If the fax continues to fail, we advise contacting the receiving party.
Busy
This status is generally received when the receiving end rejects the inbound fax with a busy signal and can be the result of numerous issues including but not limited to; high traffic congestion, paper jams, hardware issues.

Failed
A fax will be marked as ‘failed’ when there is an issue with the FaxSalad service or the formatting of your uploaded media.
