Send faxes on the go by sending directly from your email account.
What is Email to Fax?
Email to fax allows you to send faxes directly from your email account, both at your computer and on your mobile device.
The key advantages of using Email to Fax are:
Portability. Fax from anywhere, including in the office, at home or on the road.
Whitelist senders. Add multiple email addresses to your whitelist, allowing others to fax on your behalf without accessing your FaxSalad account.
Email notifications. Don't sit there thinking your faxed documents have been received only to find out the opposite. FaxSalad will notify you of any problems with your fax.
How to send a fax in 3 easy steps
Open up your preferred email client and compose a new email addressed to number@send.faxsalad.com.
You are required to input the country code before the number.
For example, to send a fax to United States 3236883907, you can address the email to: +13236883907@send.faxsalad.com
OR 13236883907@send.faxsalad.com
In the subject line, type your fax number. Entering your fax number is optional, and if left out, the fax will either send from your default fax number or one of FaxSalad's numbers, depending on your settings.
Attach your documents and hit send. You can attach as many documents as required, and the system will merge them all into a single file when sending the fax.
The following file types are supported:
PDF, AI
DOC, DOCX, RTF
JPG, PNG, GIF
You can track the progress of your fax from within the FaxSalad portal.
In this example, +13236883907@send.faxsalad.com is the recipient of our email. +13236883907 being the number we wish to fax.
Our subject line is +61340000045. You can set any FaxSalad number that you own here or leave it blank to use your default fax number or one of FaxSalad's.
Note: the system will disregard all additional text in the subject line and body.
The attachment is a single PDF file. You can upload as many files as needed in any supported format. The system will merge all files into a single document while sending your fax.
