Payment

How does payment work?
FaxSalad offers two ways to pay: pay-as-you-go or month to month billing. Pay-as-you-go faxing runs on a credit top-up system. Credit is applied to your account in blocks by credit card or PayPal, with all transactions drawing down from this credit balance. To ensure there are no interruptions to your fax service, we offer an optional automatic recharge setting. Month to month billing applies to our Fax Plans. If your fax volume is much higher than a casual basis, the plans will provide better value for money than pay-as-you-go.
What happens when my credit runs out?
Once your credit balance reaches $0, you will no longer be able to send and receive faxes. If you have fax numbers on a pay-as-you-go basis, future charges for this will be drawn directly from your payment method, and if we are unable to take payment, the fax number will be deactivated and terminated. To avoid disruptions to your service, we recommend enabling automatic recharge for your account.
Can I setup automatic recharge?
Yes, you can configure automatic recharge to ensure your account is always active and avoid interruptions to your service. You'll need to define a threshold and then a recharge limit. Once your balance falls below the threshold, it is topped up to bring it back to the limit. Access the billing page from within the FaxSalad portal to manage your recharge settings.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments from Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and PayPal. There are no additional fees for using any of these methods.
What exports are available?
You can export all fax records, dating back as far as your account has been live. The fax records will include timestamps, sender, recipient, the total charged, the price per page, and the status for the fax. If you need custom exports for billing purposes, please contact our team.
How can I access copies of my tax invoices?
Once logged into the FaxSalad service, select 'Payment History' from the top-right drop-down menu and then choose download next to your past payments to download a copy of the invoice.
How do I updated the payment method linked to my FaxSalad account?
You can update your payment method at any time by logging into the FaxSalad portal, selecting 'Billing' from the drop-down menu in the top right corner and then selecting the 'Payment methods' tab. You can update both your credit card or linked PayPal account. To change the default payment method for your FaxSalad account, select the star next to the payment method that you want to be the default.
